Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Army Contracting Command, Tenant Contracting Division, 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846 intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) soliciting from a single source. Only one source is capable of providing the required RFeye Site Software Support/Upgrade Service. CRFS Inc.4230-D Lafayette Center Drive, Chantilly VA 20151-1238. NAICS Code is 334515, Business Size Standard size is 750, Small Business. The Aberdeen Test Center requires the purchase of RFeye Site Software Support/Upgrade Service (see attached SOW for detail requirment). According to CRFS, they are the sole manufacture of the RFeye Nodes and the RFeye Site software. They are the only source capable of providing software support and upgrade services for the RFeye Site software application. Please see the attachment labeled, "J&A" for further detail as to why this action is being negotiated solely with CRFS, Cage Code: 6RN69, Small Business. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-MAY-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
