- Description
- SUBJECT: Request For Information For Secure Computing Environment I. Introduction: The United States Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center/Battle Management, Foreign Military Sales Division (AFLCMC/HBN) has established a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) common computing architectural concept known as the Secure Computing Environment ("SCE"). This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to engage industry and foster a collaborative relationship between the Air Force FMS office and vendors to share perspectives on future SCE acquisition(s). II. Background: AFLCMC/HBN provides secure interoperable systems supporting Joint Air Operations to US Governement FMS customers. These solutions provide partner nations with secure mission capability, able to interoperate both within sovereign space and with U.S. military forces. In response to various customer mission needs, AFLCMC/HBN is establishing the SCE, a modular Infrastructure and Cybersecurity solution. SCE provides common IT services, hosts virtualized and containerized mission applications, and integrates with external sensors, weapon systems and C2 centers via open standard interfaces. The principal end-users will be partner nation network operations, cybersecurity, and mission operations personnel, operating in one of several potential configurations: 1) an enterprise SOC/NOC with tiered, regional network operations centers; 2) an enterprise SOC/NOC with direct tactical responsibility; 3) a regional, tactical mission-focused SOC; 4) operational and tactical level C2 facilities. Future RFIs will include: 1.) Integration of mission applications and capabilities supporting C2 of Joint Air Operations. and 2.) Integration of enterprise cybersecurity services III. Purpose: The purpose of this RFI is to collaborate with industry partners who can offer physical, single-cabinet (42U) SCE demonstrations that integrate the capabilities specified in Secure Computing Environment RFI Response Spreadsheet (Attachment 2) into a single product offering. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-MAY-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
