Description
Sources Sought Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of Durham VA Medical Center, is conducting market research through this Sources Sought Notice for small business sources for brand name or equal to St. Jude Medical OPTIS Mobile System. Driven by a global increase in vascular disease and enabled by advances in technology, the catheterization lab allows physicians to use minimally invasive percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures that give patients an alternative to open heart surgery with the goal to improve patient outcomes, shorten hospital stays and reduce hospital costs. The OPTIS Mobile System offers physicians an efficient way to optimize PCI procedures for the treatment of vascular disease by combining diagnostic tools designed to improve patient outcomes into one portable device. Utilizing a combination of technology, the OPTIS Mobile System is designed to help physicians make improved stenting decisions based on high-resolution and three dimensional OCT views of coronary anatomy while simultaneously mapping their exact location via angiogram. The OPTIS Mobile System also integrates FFR measurement technology, which offers physicians detailed coronary hemodynamic (circulatory) information during PCI. The requested system combines optical coherence tomography (OCT) and fractional flow reserve (FFR) on a mobile system for integration into multiple cath labs. It also has the following characteristics: Real-time, rapid angio-COT co-registration to visualize the linkage between anatomical OCT frames and angiography images directly on the boom monitor. Wireless tableside control for management of OCT and FFR applications in the sterile field Pre-installed connections for quick integration into multiple cath labs Second viewing/ control point from OPTIS Moblie System stationed by bedside Wireless FFR NEW equipment ONLY- no remanufactured or gray market equipment. Equipment must be covered under manufacturer s warranty. This notice is seeking small businesses who are authorized distributors of the equipment. Interested parties should submit with their response the following information: Company name, DUN#, business size, and FSS contract number, if applicable. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Please email this information to dori.dabbs2@va.gov no later than 10:00 am EST May 23, 2019. Phone inquiries will not be accepted.
