Description

INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order to Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), 104 Inverness Terrace East, Englewood, CO 80112, for a project entitled "MGMA DataDive All Surveys database" which is a one year licenses access to a database that contains financial data on physician practices. These data include information regarding cost and revenues for physician practices that would help better understand hospital fees paid to physician practices as well as trends of costs and revenue within physician practices. The sole source award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 235 ( C ) ( 1 ) as implemented by FAR6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A justification and approval is currently being processed for this requirement. This requirement is intended as a sole source procurement because there is no other recent publicly available and comprehensive data source on physician input expenses.
