Description
NSN 7G-5975-015483118, TDP VER 004, REF NR MODEL 3040, QTY 2 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. The Government intends to request offers for a firm-fixed price contract to procure 2 each CHASSIS, ELECTRICAL. Approved manufacturers and part numbers are: CACI NSS INC (61735) P/N: 3040 L-3 COMMUNICATIONS GOV SVCS INC (1UH41) P/N: 3040 The FOB point is SOURCE. For a copy of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) SPRMM1-19-Q-TE45, please contact STEPHEN MILLER at stephen.miller@dla.mil. The data needed to acquire/repair this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. The proposed acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns (see FAR clause 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-MAY-2019).
