- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center will be posting a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to www.FBO.gov on or around 21 May 2019. The RFQ will be a 100% Set-Aside for Veteran-Owned, Small-Business (VOSB) concerns IAW VAAR 819.70 Veteran Owned and Operated Small Businesses. VA has a requirement for one (1) Caterpillar 926M Small Wheel Loader. A full list of required OEM standard and optional equipment features will be will be listed in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued under the authority of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Award will be made to the CVE Verified VOSB offeror who submits a quote for a technically acceptable product with the lowest total price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 333120 (Construction Machinery Manufacturing) and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees.
