Description

This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Saint Cloud VA Medical Center (VHASTC), 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, MN has a requirement for a Firm Fixed Price Service Contract to be performed at the VA Medical Center campus in St. Cloud, MN. The purpose of this notice is to determine interest and capability of potentially qualified businesses in particular Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small-Businesses (VOSB) relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this requirement, the Government will use responses to this sources sought synopsis. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will also depend on the response to this sources sought synopsis. Description: Vendor to Furnish all Labor, Tools, and Equipment necessary to perform a repair on a McQuay AGS chiller Model Number: AGS160CS12-ER10, to be performed at the main campus of St. Cloud VA Health Care System, 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, MN, within 14 days ARO, as specified in the Statement of Work contained within this requirement. Statement of Work (SOW) The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools to perform a repair on the McQuay AGS chiller Model Number: AGS160CS12-ER10 Serial Number: STNU050100046 to include the following: Isolate compressor Reclaim refrigerant Remove slide valve indicator Remove internal piston assembly Install new piston assembly Install new main casing O ring Install new slide valve indicator Recharge system with refrigerant Replenish oil to correct appropriate levels Preform calibration procedure Verify operation to manufacture requirements Work Hours Services shall be performed during the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Qualifications: Contractor must be current on all US EPA (refrigerant handling), US OSHA (10/40), US DOT, NFPA, etc.), Compliance: Contractor personnel who perform services for the VA HCS must be competent, experienced, and qualified to perform such services. All work shall be performed in accordance with established standards. The Contractor shall furnish and ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) for Contractor employees is in good condition. Contractor shall preform all appropriate Lock-out/tag-out procedures.
