- FY19 Saginaw CDF Dike Raising The work under this contract includes but is not limited to construction of approximately 7,700 linear feet of raised interior perimeter dikes on the south disposal cell of the Saginaw Bay CDF. The required construction will establish minimum crest elevation of +15 ft. above Low Water Datum (L.W.D.), a 20 ft. minimum crest width and 3 horizontal on 1 vertical sideslopes. It is the contractor's responsibility to make his own determination of the excavation and fill volumes required to complete the work. In addition, low areas on the existing stone dike crest shall be repaired with MDOT 21AA stone to a minimum elevation of +13 L.W.D in areas shown on the plans. It is estimated that approximately 500 tons of MDOT 21AA stone will be required to repair the existing stone dike.
