Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX, intends to issue solicitation 15B41419Q00000001 for the provision of Dialysis Needles & Blood Tubing Supplies. The supplies will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (USMCFP), Springfield, MO. The physical address is USMCFP Springfield, 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, MO 65807-2240. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible vendor or individual who submits the best value to the Government based on Price, Past Performance and Technical. Technical will be evaluated based on conformance to the requirements in the solicitation, delivery timeframes for both regular and emergency shipments and/or any other reasonable basis. The Bureau of Prisons requires Medisystems Hemodialysis Stream Line Blood Tubing and Arterial/Venous Fistula Needle set with Masterguard Anti-Stick Needle Protector 15 gauge x 1" for the Dialysis Department at the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (USMCFP) located in Springfield, Missouri. Due to the care level of USMCFP, hemodialysis is ran six days a week for 12 hours each day for chronic and/or acute renal failure patients. This is an existing requirement and provides the compatibility and safety measures required that is critical to patient care and staff safety in the Dialysis Unit.
