- SUBJECT: Facility Safety Anchor Recertification DISCLAIMER: This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kind of offers will be considered in response to this Sources Sought. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. At this time, questions concerning the composition and requirements for a future Request for Quote will not be entertained. SUBJECT: The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research in order to provide Ambulance services for the Martinsburg, WV VA Medical Centers. The government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price single award contract that will provide the support services listed within the below attachment. OBJECTIVE: See attachment. All information regarding Capabilities Statements or any other proprietary information relative to this Sources Sought shall be submitted via email to caitlin.hippensteel@va.gov no later than 3:00 pm EST on 5/31/2019 ATTACHMENT 1 STATEMENT OF WORK FACILITY SAFETY ANCHOR RECERTIFICATION VAMC MARTINSBURG Federal OSHA requires that all roof anchors to be used with Rope Descent Systems (RDS) be re-certified every 10 Years. Contractor to provide all parts, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to complete the requirements for certification 98 anchor point located in/on building 500 Martinsburg VAMC. Review all existing drawing available for system compliance Load testing of all available equipment as prescribed by the Engineer of Record Inspection of all available equipment Make recommendation for any remedial work that may be required Provide revised drawings showing equipment location which will include any rigging and restrictive notes The Engineer of Record will stamp drawing confirming the equipment is certified for use Test report stamped by the Engineer of Record when the equipment is certified for use Contractor will co-ordinate scheduling and other requirements with the FMS Shop Forman (Dale Wood, 304-263-0711 Ext 3369) Contractor is responsible for meeting all local, state, and federal regulation and laws as they pertain to completing this requirement NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-MAY-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
