- 2 Pressure Mapping System Procurement BRAND NAME OR EQUAL: XSENSOR X3 Pressure Mapping System This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) only. Market research is being conducted to determine the amount of qualified and capable businesses that can provide the items requested below. If you believe your firm is able to provide the items requested below, you are encouraged to respond by the due date with all of the required information indicated below in order to be considered. Due date for responses is close of business (4:30PM local time/CT) on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Email responses to Traci Johannes at traci.johannes@va.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer in writing via email. Telephone inquiries will NOT be accepted/returned. When submitting a response to this RFI, offerors must include the following: Indicate socio-economic status Include picture of offered items and support literature, brochure, etc. Indicate any existing Government contract where item(s) may be purchased (i.e. FSS/GSA contract etc.) Must be able to provide installation DISCLAIMER-This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. NAICS: 339112 Size Standard: 1000 employees Place of Performance The selected vendor shall provide equipment to the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. The address is One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417 System Requirements Software and System User friendly interface Provide clinicians with visual feedback of pressure distribution Presents good clear image quality of the pressure distributions The mat should be able to communicate wirelessly to a tablet where the software is stored System should be able to capture and manage images and recordings Capable of allowing clinicians to write notes on each record Capable of displaying real-time images of the pressures produced Tablet must come with the software already installed Display: 10.1 display Resolution: 1200 x 800 pixels Touchscreen: 2-point projected capacitive touch (PCT) Dimensions: (L x W x H) 291 x 198 x 23 mm Weight: 1.2 Kg Ingress Protection: IP65 Power Input: 12 VDCPower supply/Charger Must allow for wired connection as well as Bluetooth connection to the pressure mat Must come with a desktop software option Must provide a user guide Seating Pressure Mat Measure body surface pressures Sensors are capable of continuously measuring the patient s body surface pressures Must have a durable and cleanable sensor Sensor must be accurate and reliable to allow repeated use Seating mat should be thin, flexible, and light The mat should rest easily on the patient s wheelchair System must display high- and low-pressure distribution values Must be certified cleanable by AAMI TIR-30:2011 standard Must come with a Power supply/Charger Must provide a carry case to store the mat in Sensor: 18 x18 Total Area: 26 x 26 (66cm x 66cm) Sensing Area: 18 x 18 (45.7cm x 45.7cm) Pressure Range: 0.07-2.7 N/cm2 (0.1-3.87 psi) Calibration: ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Accuracy: ± 5% full scale Ingress Protection: IP55 dust protected, water jets Training Contractor shall provide on-site or online go-live training via skype call or another VA approved online source for users during implementation that will be scheduled at the best time for the clinical users. GREY MARKET ITEMS: The Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that the OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. The vendor shall provide new items ONLY; no remanufactured or "grey market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The offeror shall provide evidence of its authority to distribute the proposed equipment/system at the time of submission of its quote/offer. Please note that such evidence is subject to verification by the Contracting Officer at his/her discretion.
