- The United States Marshals Service (USMS), is conducting a Sources Sought synopsis for information purposes only. This is not a solicitation announcement. Currently, no solicitation is available. This request for information does not commit the Government to pay any cost incurred in preparation of any submission to this Sources Sought Notice. The anticipated scope of services will be for the management and operation of a Contractor-owned/Contractor-operated detention facility within the District of Montana, for approximately 155 individuals charged with federal offenses and detained while awaiting trial, sentencing or hearings. The purpose of this request for information is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. Responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be publicized in FedBizOpps. All interested offerors will be required to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought synopsis. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.
