Description
Clinical Mental Health Consulting Service This is a Sources Sought Notice and not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 621112, Offices of Physicians, Mental Health Specialists. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this Sources Sought Notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Brooklyn Park Vet Center, located at 7001 78th Avenue North, Suite 300, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445, is seeking qualified and licensed mental health professional to provide Clinical Mental Health Consulting Service for two (2) hours per month. The clinical psychologist shall provide discussion and recommendations concerning the presented clinical cases of the Veteran population, actively seeking services at the Brooklyn Park Vet Center. Specific work includes Veterans who have a diagnosis of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, drug and alcohol dependence, violent or suicidal behavior, panic and anxiety disorders, and military sexual trauma. Consultant shall ensure cases brought to Vet Center counselors meet the empirical evidence-based therapies, standards, practices, and procedures that are normally used by the private industry and approved for the clinical staff at the Vet Center. The closing date and time of this sources sought notice is June 3, 2019 at 1:00 PM Central Time. This is not a solicitation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Additionally, a response to this Sources Sought Notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of any forthcoming solicitation.
