Description

Womack Army Medical Center has the surgical requirement to provide: The Seaspine Shoreline Anterior Cervical Standalone System is designed to deliver and meet Doctor Prescribed products for patients. Products shall provide maximum flexibility and modularity, offering zero- and low-profile plating options, including two, three and four hole variations, as well as 10 and 15 degree lordotic implants. This selection provides surgeons the ability to intraoperatively address a wide range of anatomy, surgical situations or bone. In addition, TruProfile technology offers a low profile plate design at 1.6mm thickness, minimizing the profile on the anterior aspect of the spine and minimizing cephalad caudal encroachment of adjacent segments. These products cannot be purchased ahead of time due to the large amount of stock required to have on hand for each procedure. It would not be possible to determine what sizes will be required for purchase prior to the patient being on the operating room table as the surgeon looks at the patients anatomy intraoperatively. Size is always determined this way to ensure the best fit for the patient. Failure to provide the needed supplies for these surgeries will result in diminished healthcare for the patients.
