Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Sole-Source delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-17-G-0008, to Rolls Royce, plc, Bristol, England, for a Calendar Year 2020 Component Improvement Program (CIP) for the AV-8B F-402 Pegasus propulsion system pursuant to the authority provided in FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The F402 Pegasus Propulsion System is used in the USMC AV-8B Aircraft as well as Spanish and Italian AV-8B variants. The CIP will apply to all of the above mentioned AV-8B variants. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-MAY-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
