Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is ANCFO-0010 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-02. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 314910 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.UnisonMarketplace.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2019-05-31 15:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.UnisonMarketplace.com. FOB Destination shall be Arlington, VA 22211 The MICC End User requires the following items, Brand Name Only (Exact Match), to the following: LI 001: Ceremonial shelters must have a frame that is Ten (10) feet wide and Twenty (20) feet long. Shelter frame will be constructed of 50mm anodized aluminum with octagonal leg profiles, must be corrosion resistance. Ceremonial shelters will be made of 2mm thick aluminum walls on all frame elements, have dual flange scissor piece connecting elements, all frame pieces will be pinned together to allow for replacement of broken or damaged pieces. All sliding connecting elements, including legs, will have polymer slides to reduce friction and metal on metal contact. Each leg of ceremonial tent will have a push button release to eliminate pinch points. Ceremonial shelter will have capability to have a peak flag or peak banner system. Shelters will have Canopies. Shelter canopies will be constructed out of heavy duty 500 denier polyester with 4 protective coatings to ensure fire retardance, water resistance, UV protection, and mildew resistance. Canopies will be reinforced by PVC vinyl at all touch points; all corners and wherever the frame touches the canopy, nylon webbing valance tensioners sewn to the canopy to ensure proper stretching of fabric, rubber coated protective end caps and corner brackets to tension canopy properly as well as full hook and loop velcro fastening system for all walls. Shelters will have 55lb interlocking powder coated cast iron footplates,heavy duty transport bag, 16  heavy duty spiral aluminum staking kit with mallet and 1" webbing tie downs. Canopy must be in compliance with the NFPA 701. Design sketch to be submitted with bid of design of canopy. Canopy will contain ability for font to be placed on two (2) sides. Font will be no less than 93.2"H X 236.9"W. Font to be selected based on design sketches submitted with buy package. Shelters will also have detachable weights(25-50lb) for feet for securing shelter during inclement weather., 5, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested Offerers must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC End User intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, Unison, Inc. Unison Marketplace has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MICC End User is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.UnisonMarketplace.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.UnisonMarketplace.com. Offerers that are not currently registered to use www.UnisonMarketplace.com should proceed to www.UnisonMarketplace.com to complete their free registration.
