THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists currently. Market Research is being conducted to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone interests. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition for the Development of a Web-Based Training Course for the Durham VAMC located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham NC 27705. We are seeking the development of web-based training course that will be approximately 3 hours in length. The course will not only provide didactic learning experiences but will also contain scenario-based eLearning that can provide learners with real world obstacles and problems that they will face to expand their skill sets and knowledge base in safety planning, while keeping them engaged in the eLearning process. The Advanced Safety Planning Intervention (ASPI) Training Program model is a blended learning training that includes 4 components: (1) Didactic Training, (2) Experiential Training, (3) Participant Evaluation and (4) Follow-Up Evaluation. Per the Training Agreement on the ASPI training program application, participants must secure time to attend and participate in all scheduled calls and program activities. Training participants (TPs) are required to complete each training component in order and by the identified deadlines. Successful completion of all 4 components will allow participants to be added to the ASPI Training Provider Roster as recognition of completing competency-based training in the Safety Planning Intervention. Overall ASPI training Program Learning Objectives: To teach the rationale and clinical implementation of developing Safety Plans with Veterans To tailor Safety Plans for Veteran-specific issues and across diverse populations To evaluate VA providers in the application of the Safety Planning Intervention to promote competency and fidelity To promote Safety Planning as a clinical intervention and promote ongoing implementation post-training The NAICS 519130 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of 1,000 If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. In response, please include the following: A positive statement of your intent to submit a quote as a prime contractor (capability statement) If any teaming or subcontracting possibilities are contemplated, please provide subcontractor's name and breakdown of labor and its' performance cost Evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, award dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers Past performance references with points of contact and phone numbers Provide FSS/GSA Contract# if applicable. Identify whether the firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories listed above Your response is required by: Tuesday, June 4, 2019 by 10:00 AM EST All capable Service Disabled Veteran Small Businesses are encouraged to respond.
