- Description
- Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete the construction of Sulphur Switching Station, Stage 01 in South Dakota. The principal components of the work involve miscellaneous sitework; demolition; earthwork, providing chain-link fence, gravel surfacing, and seeding; providing concrete foundations; providing steel structures; installing Government-Furnished equipment including power circuit breakers, coupling capacitor voltage transformers, switches, station service transformer, station battery system, and switchboard sections; providing high voltage bus, grounding, conduit, cable trench, surge arrester, switches, control cable, and fiber optic conduit system; miscellaneous electrical; mechanical design services; and constructing a site-built service building complete with electrical and mechanical systems. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All work is to be completed within 360 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The NAICS Code for this project is 237130 with a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5 Million. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about June 17, 2019 and the projected bid opening date is July 17, 2019.
