- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and equipment will not be returned to the sender. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest parties such as Other than Small Businesses, and Small Businesses to include Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Otoacoustic emission (OAEs) system (Grason Stadler (GSI) Model) is known to meet the Government s needs: CLIN Description of Supplies/Services Qty Unit 0001 Grason-Stadler Corti DPOAE Diagnostic Unit. Included Parts: Hand-Held Unit, Micro Probe, Data Manager Software Kit, Single Use Ear-tip Sample Kit, Charging Cable, Communications USB cable, User Manual, Quick Reference Guide, and Calibration Certificate. LOCAL STOCK NUMBER: 8104317 2 EA 0002 GSI Corti Wireless Thermal Printer Kit LOCAL STOCK NUMBER: 8103161 2 EA 0003 GSI Corti Cradle with USB cable LOCAL STOCK NUMBER: 8103766 2 EA 0004 Installation LOCAL STOCK NUMBER: Install 2 JB **If offering an equal the vendor is responsible for submitting enough supporting information (i.e. manual) to illustrate equipment meets or exceeds the following Salient Characteristics. Salient Characteristics Training NOT required Shall be portable and preferable hand-held and lightweight. Shall be multiple diagnostic and screening protocols. Shall be able to test distortion product emissions with up to 12 frequencies up to 12 kHz and transient evoked OAEs. Shall have large memory for storing clinical results. Shall have disposable consumables (ear tips). Shall be able to reject noise artifact. Shall have probe check for proper placement and presentation of test signal. Shall be able to transfer data if necessary. Cleaning shall be clearly defined according to manufacturer's specifications. Reprocessing of the scopes shall be clearly defined according to manufacturer's specifications **If offering equipment as a non-manufacturer (i.e. distributor) the vendor is also required to submit memo from the manufacturer that shows they are authorized as a distributor of the equipment. DELIVERY SCHEDULE All items to be delivered during normal working hours between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334510 (Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing) and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees.
