- Veterans Affairs Seeking Medical Space The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease a minimum of 19,000 19,950 maximum net usable square feet of medical office space in the Petersburg, Virginia delineated area. The space must meet accessibility laws in accordance with 4 CFR 101-19.6, App A (Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards). On-site parking for 120 vehicles is required to include 30 of those spaces as designated accessible parking specifically for VA usage. The VA requires a full-service lease for a five (5) year firm term with an additional five (5) years for a total of ten (10) years. VA will consider leased space located in an existing building as well as land for new construction of a build-to-suit lease option. All proposed space must be within the delineated area as follows: Starting at the Intersection of Rt 301/Boulevard and E Ellerslie Ave, drive south on Boulevard to Dupuy Ave; turn right onto Dupuy Ave; it will turn into Granger Ave. From Granger Ave, turn left onto Chesterfield Ave. Chesterfield Ave will transition into Canal St. From Canal St, continue onto N South St; turn right onto W Washington St, then turn left onto Atlantic St. Turn left from Atlantic St onto Farmer St, and then right from Farmer St onto Youngs Road. Youngs Rd will transition to Squirrel Level Rd. Turn left (east) onto Defense Road; Defense Road will turn into W South Blvd. Turn right onto Wakefield St, then turn left onto Walnut Blvd. Turn right onto S Crater Road. From there, turn left onto Medical Park Blvd, then turn right onto Jemison Circle, and right again onto Elders Way. Turn left onto Poplar Drive, then right onto Wagner Road. Take Wagner Road to I-95 North. Take exit 52, then turn right onto E Bank St going east. Turn left onto E Washington St, then left onto Puddledock Road. Turn left onto Temple Ave, then turn right onto Conduit Road to go north. Turn left onto E Ellerslie Ave, then end at the intersection of E Ellerslie Ave and Route 301/Boulevard.
