Description

Request for Information Common Hardware System -5th Generation Contract Value: $3.9B ceiling This REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal or Quotation. It is not considered to be a commitment by the Government to award a contract nor will the Government pay for any information provided; no basis for a claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this RFI or Government use of any information provided. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of a contractor's submission of responses to this announcement or the Government's use of such information. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. Purpose: The United States (US) Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), MD is seeking feedback from industry to determine whether there are small or other than small businesses capable of providing the commercial items necessary to fulfill CHS-5 Contract requirements. Responses to this RFI will be used for market research purposes only. The CHS-5 Contract, W15P7T-16-D-0008, was awarded on 25 August 2018 to Large Business General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), cage code 67032. The requirement was competed based on full and open competition. Requirement information is set forth below.
