- This Sources Sought is for information and market research only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA is currently conducting market research to locate qualified experienced and interested potential sources. Responses will NOT be considered as proposals, nor will any award be incurred by interested parties in responding to this Sources Sought announcement. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification Small Business relative to NAICS 324110 Petroleum Refineries, size standard $1500 employees. Responses to this Sources Sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses, a solicitation announcement may be published on FEDBIZ OPPS website. Contracting Service is seeking interested sources (contractors) for a near-future solicitation and procurement for the following: Fuel delivery for Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Fuel delivery will be ordered on an on-call basis and deliveries shall be within 48 hours of placing order with the contractor. There are approximately 30 orders per year of 600 gallons of diesel fuel totaling approximately 18,000 gal annually and approximately 10 orders per year of 300 gallons of unleaded fuel totaling approximately 3000 gal annually. Contractor shall supply Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel with a Cetane rating of at least 50 with additives to the maintenance and seasonal capabilities for the climate in the area. Contractor shall supply reformulated Unleaded Gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87 with no more than 10% ethanol with additives to the maintenance and seasonal capabilities for the climate in the area. At this time, no solicitation exists. Therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. The period of performance shall be a 12-month base period and four (4) option years to be exercised at the Government s discretion. All work will be performed during the normal work week and shall not take place on Federal Holidays or weekends. Responses must be sent to the following address and received no later than 2:00PM on June 6, 2019 though the vendor portal: https://www.vendorportal.ecms.va.gov Your responses must include price estimate, your business size, capabilities statement and socio-economic status information. You must have a current Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA), and be registered in SAM. You must also be registered in VetBiz Registry if applicable.
