This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of businesses including (but not limited to) 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, and Veteran-Owned Small Business firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 336113. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking both manufacturers and/or distributors of the exact match or functionally equivalent equipment/ services to the following listed above. Salient Characteristics for Alaris Pumps Shall have capability to provide wireless updates through wireless network. This push must be Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 level 2 compliant in terms of encryption and security for the data transfer. Must provide wireless updates to drug library on individual infusion pumps Must have the ability to audit all keystrokes on each infusion pump Must offer infusion devices for Large Volume, Syringe, PCA, and EtCO2 on one platform. Must offer PCA Pause with EtCO2 monitoring integration. Must have capability for bi-directional interoperability Must have the ability to add or remove pump channels Can be attachable with an independent infusion system. Must be able to perform continuous and intermittent infusions including: Fluids, medications, blood products, chemotherapy, Total Parenteral Nutrition, and Lipids. Software shall be capable of editing drug formulary/library Software shall provide access controlled by usernames to limit access to approved pharmacy staff only to edit drug listings. Shall have the capability to pull current library and previous library into a table format or to be exported into a spreadsheet format. Shall allow for date and time stamp of the drug library to note when put into clinical use. Reporting software shall provide report generation and quality improvement measurements. Reporting software shall allow for access control for nursing, pharmacy, and biomedical engineering staff for report generation. Reporting software shall have capability to provide pre-generated reports that include: error codes, alarms activated, pump programming. Reporting software shall have ability to produce self-generated reports with fields determined by department users. Reporting software shall have capability of running reports in table, graph, or chart format or have the capability to be exported in a data type to allow for table, graph, or chart generation. Shall have configurable profiles for quick upload of technical information to the device. Shall have step-by-step procedures and testing of devices and prompt staff for data values and information to complete the Preventative Maintenance (PM) report. Software shall be able to connect to the device to interrogate for alarms, error logs, or other information related to PM.
