- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quote (RFQ) 127J1819Q0008. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-02 and are available in full text through Internet access at http://www.acquisition.gov/far. The Big Piney Ranger District has a requirement for mowing and grounds maintenance on the Ozark National Forest, in Searcy, Newton, Pope, and Johnson Counties of Arkansas as further detailed in solicitation 127J1819Q0008. This solicitation will result in a single award to the lowest priced, responsible offeror as best meets the needs of the Government. The proposed contract will have a base period, which runs through September 30, 2019, with 2 option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 and the small business size standard is $7.5 million. The solicitation for this project will be available only through the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible, qualified small businesses may submit an offer which will be considered by the Forest Service. Performance of this contract is subject to the Service Contract Act. Offerors are encouraged to visit the Department of Labor Wage Determinations Online website (www.wdol.gov) to verify prevailing wage rates for the applicable counties in Arkansas prior to submitting an offer. All Offerors shall be registered at the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) to be eligible for award. No Pre-Bid conference will be held. However, offeror are encouraged to visit the sites before providing quote. NO FAX QUOTES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Quotes are to be submitted to: Jackie Robinson at jackie.robinson@usda.gov, or to Ozark - ST. Francis National Forests, 605 W Main. Russellville, AR 72801 no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Time, June 17, 2019. Quotes must include vendor's DUNS number.
