Description
NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Veterans Affairs Medical/Surgical Prime Vendor Program For MSPV 2.0 Solicitation #36C10G19R0022 This solicitation is issued as a set-aside for Small Business concerns specifically for CLINs associated with VISNs 1, 2, 4, 8, 10, and 19 utilizing a tiered approach based on an order of priority as established in 38 U.S.C. 8127. All other CLINs will be competed as unrestricted, utilizing Full and Open Competition under authority 41 U.S.C. 3301 and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.401(b), Competitive Proposals. The Small Business set-aside portion of the solicitation will convert to Full and Open Competition if NO acceptable offers are received from responsible, Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 423450 - Medical, Dental, and Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers, with a small business size standard of 200 employees. This requirement provides for the distribution and supply management of all required medical, surgical, dental, and laboratory supplies to Veteran Administration Medical Centers (VAMCs) and Other Government Agencies (OGAs). The Period of Performance (POP) will be structured to include a 36-month base period, plus two 36-month option periods. This equates to a maximum potential contract length of nine years. An implementation period of 120-calendar days will be included in the POP and will take place prior to the start of the 36-month base period.
