Description: This requirement is for a U.S. or foreign flag, self-sustaining container vessel capable of carrying a minimum of 295 ammo Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) with a net explosive weight (N.E.W.) of 577,000 pounds while satisfying all applicable HAZMAT regulatory segregation and compatibility requirements. Vessel must be capable of 13 knots minimum when laden. Vessel must not exceed a maximum overall length of 304.8 meters, or 1000 feet and a laden draft of 9.5 meters or 31 feet. Vessel must be capable of carrying all ammunition classes and divisions per their Document of Compliance for the Carriage of Dangerous Goods. 17. The place/range of delivery is Chinhae, South Korea and place/range redelivery is Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO), CA. The layday commences and cancels 27 August 2019 and the charter period will be about 26 days. 18. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as "Unrestricted" is based on responses received from a recent market survey for this service. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. MSC's Deputy Associate Director of Small Business has concurred with this assessment.
