- FedBizOps Posting - Request For Proposal Solicitation Number: Agency: Department of the Army Office: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Location: U.S. Army Engineer District Mobile Category X (Lease or rental of facilities), NAICS Code 5311 Synopsis: The Department of the Army seeks to lease approximately 30,000 square feet of usable contiguous office space in Huntsville, Alabama for the Missile Defense Agency. Requested space must be fully serviced and in a building that can be customized to meet the Government's needs and security requirements. The building must meet Federal Government standards for fire safety, energy star compliant, and must be ADA compliant and be located outside a 100 year floodplain. The facility must meet current DoD Anti- Terrorism and Force Protection requirements. Facility must consist of an open floor plan to accommodate office cubicles. In addition, the administrative facility should also have several closed wall offices, conference rooms with video teleconferencing capability and telephony connectivity and dispersed business centers. DELINEATED AREA: The administrative facility should be located within a 10-mile radius of Gate 9 at Redstone Arsenal. LEASE TERM: The lease term is one (1) year firm term, with nine (9) option years.
