- Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, is issuing this Notice of Intent to Sole Source in order to identify any potential sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide a comprehensive vehicle for annual Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) and Extended Service Agreement (ESA) for the Hill-Rom NaviCare Nurse Call system (NNC). SERVICES REQUIRED: Contractor shall provide annual Hardware and Software maintenance and extended Service Agreement for the Hill-Rom for the Navi-Care Nurse Call system at the Stratton Veterans Administration Medical Center, 113 Holland Ave, Albany NY 12208 during the term of July 7, 2019 through July 6, 2020 with provision for four (4) Option Years. Contractor shall provide services for Hill-Rom NaviCare Nurse Call system (NNC). INTERESTED & CAPABLE RESPONSES: NCO 2 is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, rights, and capabilities necessary to provide these services. Please provide all of the following in your response: Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), person of contact (including telephone number & email address), GSA Contract number if applicable, and DUNS number. Please also include the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for which you propose to do provide the service under for verification of your size standard. A Capability Statement which provides detailed, specific information that demonstrates understanding of the tasks required and capability to perform the tasks as stated in the attached Statement of Work. Failure to tailor capability statement to this specific requirement may result in your company being determined non-responsive. Responses must be submitted by 3:00 PM EST June 18, 2019. The results of this notice may assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted for this notice. STATEMENT OF WORK General: Stratton Veterans Administration Medical Center in Albany, NY is seeking annual Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) and Extended Service Agreement (ESA) for the Hill Rom NaviCare Nurse Call system (NNC). The Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) shall: Include Major & Minor Upgrades including patches & fixes for NNC software, on-site 1Labor for upgrades including certifications, 24/7/365 remote technical diagnostics & support, minor configuration changes (Performed Remotely) up to 4 Hours. Coverage For: Unit 7B, 8B, 9B, 9C and Enterprise, 1st-10th Fl, basement & enterprise, add-on 1st Fl, Endo & ICU, 2nd Fl adds, 2nd Fl Angio Suite, 4th Fl Reno, 4th Fl B. The NNC Extended Service Agreement (ESA) shall: Include Part Replacement, On-Site Labor including Travel & Living Expenses, 1 Preventative Maintenance per install, Minor Configuration Changes (On-Site)-4 Hour Maximum, RTLS: 2 Battery Maintenance Visits per year including dead Battery Replacement for system Monitors & Virtual Walls--**250 batteries Maximum & 5 Days On-Site Annually**Coverage For: Unit 7B, 8B, 9B, 9C and Enterprise, 1st-10th Fl, Basement & Enterprise, Add-On 1st Fl, Endo & ICU, 2nd Fl Adds, 2nd Fl Angio Suite, 4th Fl Reno, 4th Fl B. Government-Furnished Equipment/Services: VA will provide remote access to the contractor to support the performance requirements. VA shall be responsible to provide and maintain its own virus protection software. Preventive maintenance (PM's): Contractor shall provide preventive maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer s recommendations. Contractor shall include performance of onsite support services at the VA facility. Contractor shall warrant its services in accordance with industry standards. If services are deemed defective, contractor shall re-perform the services Reports/Documentation: Contractor shall maintain Reports or documentation package acceptable for Joint Commission purposes and shall be made available to Customer. The Report/Documentation package shall describe work performed in support of the Hill Rom NaviCare Nurse call system (NNC) under this Statement of Work. Period of Performance: Stratton Veterans Administration Medical Center 113 Holland Ave, Albany NY 12208 Period of Performance: The base period of performance will be one (1) year from the date of award with the provision of four (4) Option Years.
