- Project Title: Cyclic Maintenance of Fire Road Surfaces on River Road and Wilson Rock Park/Unit: Horseshoe Bend National Military Park Location: Daviston, (Tallapoosa County) Alabama REQUIREMENTS: Supply, deliver, and spread construction materials to repair segments of backcountry Fire Roads (roughly 5.8 miles long in total). 1. River Road Fire Road, 3,000 LF X 10 feet wide x 0.33 feet deep. 2. Wilson Rock Fire Road, 1,000 LF x 8 feet wide x 0.33 feet deep. An approximate total of 38,000 SF road surface will need stabilizing. Compact the crush and run so that it adheres together and becomes a semi-solid unit. MATERIAL: 1 1/2" down granite crusher run from AL DOT approved sources. Bulk quantities (estimated 465 CY total) are required in order to complete the work. GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATION: Quarry within 75-mile radius of the Park due to the cost of transporting materials. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm-fixed, Unit-price SET-ASIDE: 100% Small Business, SIZE STD: $36.5M annual gross receipts, 3-Yr Avg NAICS Code: 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction MAGNITUDE: Estimated Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation. W-MABO office seeks pricing and availability. Crush and run is often sold by the cubic foot or by the cubic yard. Submit signed and dated Quote (SF-1442 BID FORM or letterhead stationery) via Email: andre_ward@nps.gov or FedConnect. SITE VISIT: Refer to Section L for details. The two sites (River Road and Wilson Rock) are located on Map (page 4 of SOW). A site investigation is strongly encouraged; any failure of the Contractor to take reasonably steps to ascertain the nature and location of the work will not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty and cost of performing the work. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Registration is required to be eligible for contract award. For details refer to Section I clause 52.204-7 System for Award Management.
