Description

THIS NOTICE WAS ORIGINALLY POSTED UNDER SOLICITATION NUMBER N00024-17-R-6269. DUE TO A CLERICAL ERROR, THE SOLICITATION NUMBER FOR THIS EFFORT IS UPDATED TO BE N00024-17-R-6270. BECAUSE OF SYSTEM LIMITATIONS, THE SOLICITATION NUMBER WITHIN THE ORIGINAL NOTICE CANNOT BE UPDATED. NOTHING ELSE WITHIN THE ORIGINAL NOTICE IS CHANGED. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends utilize other than full and open competition to award a sole source, Fixed-Price Incentive (Firm Target) contract modification to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Rotary and Mission Systems for the procurement of fiscal year 2018 and 2019 TB-37/U Multi-Function Towed Array requirements, including: (1) up to twenty-three Multi-Function Towed Arrays; (2) Engineering Services; and, (3) Other Direct Costs. Deliveries are expected to complete 35 months after award of contract modification. The TB-37 MFTA is a towed sonar receiver and component sensor of the AN/SQQ-89 Anti-Submarine Warfare Combat System. The anticipated contract is intended to be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) which states "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
