Description

This sources sought/Request for Information (RFI) is posted for planning and market research purposes only. This RFI does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bids. This RFI does not commit the Government to issue any type of solicitation or award a contract. This RFI does not restrict the Government from a particular acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse any respondent for any cost associated with information submitted in response to this sources sought/RFI. NAVAIR 1.4, is seeking information from industry on capabilities and abilities to conduct Material Condition Inspections (MCIs) on seven (7) Royal Thai Navy (RTN) Dornier 228 aircraft to document current status regarding configuration, condition, and airworthiness. The MCIs will be conducted at the aircraft's home base, the RTN Airfield in U-Tapao, Thailand. Vendors should provide their ability to complete the MCIs in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer recommendations, technical publications and engineering data. Submit whitepapers, technical documentation, or any other document that would describe the company's ability to meet the above requirements.
