Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTIFICATION This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. Notice of intent to use a brand name product. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest (NAVFAC SW) is performing a market research to determine if other potential sources of supply can provide a Multi-Stage Vertical Centrifugal Pump, Valves, and variable frequency drive (VFD) that has the same requirements as the Grundfos Model CRN64-2. The requirements for the Multi-Stage Vertical Centrifugal Pump, Valves, and VFD are: a. Full integration with existing Grundfos pumps which operate on Grundfos provided VFDs and Hydro multi pump controller (MPC-E). b. To be compatible with existing instrumentation equipment in order to communicate with the proprietary Grundfos controller that is currently installed at the Booster Pump Station (BPS). c. 4-inch suction valve, pump, 4-inch check valve and 4-inch discharge valve mounted on a skid required to match the footprint of existing Grundfos pump skids and connect to the existing 10-inch diameter pump suction and discharge headers. d. To match the hydraulic characteristics of the existing pumps at BPS which are each rated for 339 GPM at 213 feet of total head driven by 25 HP motors. e. Suction manifold, discharge manifold and pump rotating parts in contact with liquid are required to be made of 316 stainless steel. The notification is for market research purposes only to identify if other potential sources of supply can meet the requirements of the Government. This is not a request for proposals, quotes or an invitation for bid. To be considered, please submit detailed technical data for the Government to evaluate your product to ensure compatibility with the existing system. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), a response to this notice is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
