- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items as a competitive, small business set aside prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N0018919QZJ1K. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 333314 and the Small Business Standard is 500 Employees. This is a competitive, small business set aside action. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following: Monolithic block Littrow diode laser at 422.792 nm (1 ea); Monolithic block Littrow diode laser at 424.165 nm (1 ea); Laser diode, AR coated, 423/424nm, up to 60mW extracavity (2 ea); External cavity diode laser controller, 100mA, high compliance voltage (2 ea); 395-425nm Faraday isolator single stage 4.7mm 40dB (2 ea); Extended chassis, for internal mounting of isolator (2 ea). See the attached Specification Sheet for further details. Delivery is requested within 8 “ 12 weeks from date of award. Delivery Location is United States Naval Observatory, 10391 3450 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington DC, 20390-5420. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control.
