- **ALL FIRMS ARE INSTRUCTED NOT TO CALL THE INDIVIDUAL VA MEDICAL CENTERS REQUESTING MORE INFORMATION. ** CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Installation of three (3) Automatic Door Packages, Long Beach VA Health Care System. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Long Beach VA Health Care System (LBVAHCS) has a requirement for the installation of three (3) Automatic Door Packages. The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Installation, repair and/or replacement of three automatic door packages in three locations at the Long Beach VA Health Care System. The Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the completion of work. The Government will not reimburse the firm for their proposal preparation cost. Statement of Work, Specifications, and Drawings, if applicable, will be issued as attachments to the solicitation. The Long Beach VA Health Care System (LBVAHCS) Facilities Management Service Department requires a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, qualified supervision, engineering, and services for installation of 3 Automatic Door Packages. This notice is issued by NCO-22 Gilbert, Located in Phoenix Arizona. However, work shall be performed at the following VA facility: LONG BEACH VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM (LBVAHCS): VAMC: 5901 East 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822 This construction project will be solicited as a Total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS code) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Small Business concerns for this NAICS code have a size standard of $36.5M. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed construction contract. The period of performance of the contract is intended to be 60 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, with no options included. The anticipated Range of Magnitude for this project, in accordance with VAAR 836.204 is projected to be: Between $25,000 and $100,000. It is anticipated that a Solicitation will be issued in April, 2019. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ and www.sba.gov/, respectively. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted.
