- Description
- The contractor shall install one drop arm for lane #2 (right lane as approaching) at the Sumter gate. The drop arm shall be K-4 rated (or a drop arm with equivalent specification)that is manually operated, counterbalance and lockable. The road opening is approximately 15 feet. The drop arms shall be installed in a manner that does not impede traffic when upright. All parts of the drop arm shall be behind the curb when upright. All areas disturbed shall be dressed up and seeded. The Government will at a minimum award CLIN 0001. The Government is also requesting pricing to install a second drop arm with identical specifications at the reject lane at the Sumter gate (Option CLIN 0002). If CLIN 0001 and CLIN 0002 are within the Government's funding limits, CLIN 0001 and CLIN 0002 will be awarded together.
