- AFMETCAL at Heath OH intends to solicit and award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) in accordance with FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 -Acquisition of Commercial Items for the purchase of Dial Indicator Calibrator Upgrade to Mahr Inc. (Cage 21938). Mahr Inc. possess the proprietary rights of the system and software necessary for the upgrade. Therefore, based on market research conducted Mahr Inc. is the only supplier that can offer a Dial Indicator Calibrator Upgrade. The Government envisions a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The anticipated quantity is 68 each over a three year period. The requirement for Dial Indicator Calibrator Upgrade is in accordance with the Purchase Description and data requirements, which are available for download at this site.
