- 1. Introduction/Purpose: The FAA has a potential upcoming requirement for the alteration/repair of the N90 TRACON facility in Westbury, NY. The FAA is seeking interested sources that are capable of completing this requirement within 548 calendar days from effective date of NTP (Notice to Proceed) until CAI (Contractor Acceptance Inspection) approval, and within the $10.0 Million - $20.0 Million range, in accordance with the attached requirements documents. This market survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy section 3.2.1.2.1 Market Analysis. 2. Nature of Competition: The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not yet been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or a set-aside may be chosen depending on market research and responses to this market survey. 3. Disclaimer: (a) This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind; (b) The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; (c) The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and (d) Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense 4. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: The NAICS code projected for the procurement is 236220 -- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction 5. Submittal Requirements for Market Survey: Interested sources must respond with information to confirm evidence of their qualifications and capabilities to meet the requirements as outlined in the attached requirements document. Response must include the following information: 1. Name of Company (the resultant Prime Contractor that may ultimately be awarded the subsequent contract) 2. Address 3. Point of contact name, e-mail address and telephone number 4. Business size status: 8(a) Certified, Small Business, SDVOSB, etc. 5. DUNS Number 6. Any relevant experience on projects of similar size and complexity: Above 10M and performed at similar critical facilities (i.e. FAA Air Traffic facilities, hospitals, and data centers, etc.) 7. Number of years in business ***All responses are to be provided on company letterhead (10 pages or less). SAM Registration: An active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) must be obtained to be considered for government contracts with the FAA. 8. Scope of Work: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Service Area “ Terminal Acquisitions Group is seeking qualified vendors to provide construction alteration/repair improvements to the northwest parking lot, service road,exterior architectural improvements including new windows and metal panel refurbishment, architectural/ interior work including fire and life safety deficiencies, hazardous material abatement, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work to the New York TRACON facility located at 1515 Stewart Ave. Westbury NY 11590. The project site is located approximately 25 miles from midtown Manhattan, at 1515 Stewart Ave. Westbury, NY, 11590. The performance time for the project will be 548 days with an expected Notice to Proceed in late 2019 or early 2020. The 548 calendar day construction period begins with the effective date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) as issued by the FAA ™s Contracting Officer (CO), and ends at the date which Contractor Acceptance Inspection (CAI). 9.
