Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or obligation or commitment by the Government. Market research is conducted to determine the availability and capability of qualified businesses for the following service. The contractor will conduct a comprehensive four-hour seminar to an audience of approximately 30 senior-grade military officers (to include General Officers) on the subject of decentralized management. Decentralized management is the shifting of a rigid organization, which executes only hierarchical command structures, to an organization that allows all members of the organization to provide input to key decision making. Seminar shall include a thorough discussion of and the applicability of the principles of this subject to military organizations (including reference to at least one specific military case study); and how those principles may foster agility and flexibility among military leaders. The contractor will also conduct a two-hour lecture (on the same day and location as the previous seminar) to an audience of approximately 300 mid - to senior - level DoD employees (military and civilian) on the subject of decentralized management. Seminar shall include a thorough discussion of decentralized management and the applicability of the principles of this subject to military organizations.
