- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) seeks Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) Partners that possess the expertise, capabilities, facilities, and experience in the field of future proposed Cable Shield Ground Adapter (CSGA) Repair concepts, in-situ repair or replacement of conductive and non-conductive cable transit fixtures inclusive of but not limited to junction boxes, bulkhead transits, kick pipes, stuffing tubes, and cable transit blocks that furthers innovative technology aboard US Navy Ships. The current Navy CSGA is limited in support in-situ repair across all contingencies. This notice serves as a ‘sources sought synopsis' seeking information from companies capable of providing a CSGA that will be used in a repair concept and meet MIL-STD and MIL-PRF requirements. Companies that possess a CSGA which they believe can meet the specifications outlined in the MIL-STD-2105, MIL-STD-1310, MIL-PRF-24758 and MIL-Spec MIL-DTL-38999L can identify its capabilities may submit the information to NSWCDD, Topside Engineering Branch, Code B53, 5493 Marple Road, Building 185, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5153 or via e-mail to James Johnson at james.w.johnson@navy.mil. The information submitted should include a capabilities statement, management chart, breakdown of personnel, and relevant past work in similar areas. Responses are requested by July 15, 2019. After reviewing the responses, NSWCDD may request a meeting or teleconference with responding companies to gain further insight into their capabilities. NSWCDD is not obligated to hold these meetings with any or all respondents. If NSWCDD decides to meet with a company, it will only meet with those that responded to this notice. NSWCDD will not reimburse costs for participation in these meetings, teleconferences or travel. NSWCDD does not intend to pay for the information received. This is neither a Request for Proposals nor an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of selecting a CRADA Partner having the ability and capability to Partner with NSWCDD.
