2 COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION 36C24619Q0700 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this action. Quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-02. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This procurement is unrestricted for brand name only and all eligible offerors may submit quotes. See justification attached. If your firm is a Service-Disabled/Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). All offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award of a federal contract. It is required for reporter gene assay and bio-functional assays for proposed studies. It also can be used to detect the interaction of protein-protein. In addition, it also can measure calcium release in live cells with temperature control and time-resolved fluorescence technology. The manufacturer of the brand name is PERKINELMER HEALTH SCIENCES INC. You must be able to provide an authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer to be considered.
