Description

**ALL FIRMS ARE INSTRUCTED NOT TO CALL THE INDIVIDUAL VA MEDICAL CENTERS REQUESTING MORE INFORMATION. ** THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL DO NOT SUBMIT SF330s IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE A/E PROJECT Conduct a campus-wide optimization study to assess the provision of single-patient beds to meet the bed letter requirements for inpatient (98), mental health (48) and long term care (120). The study will assess optimal locations to meet the current healthcare standards for each form of care. Additionally, the study will assess the current situation for each form of care and provide recommendations for future renovations, demolitions and/or opportunities for new construction. The study will provide total life-cycle cost evaluation for each feasible opportunity. The intended project is Type A Services Only. Statement of work and significant evaluation factors will be issued as attachments to the solicitation. This notice is issued by NCO-22 Gilbert, Located in Tucson Arizona. However, work be performed at the following VA facility: PHOENIX VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM (PVAHCS): 650 E Indian School Rd Phoenix, AZ 85012 This project will be solicited as a Total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS code) for this procurement is 541310 Architectural Services. Small Business concerns for this NAICS code have a size standard of $7.5M.   The resulting contract will be a firm fixed A/E contract. The period of performance of the contract is intended to be 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, with no options included. The anticipated Range of Magnitude for the resulting construction project, in accordance with VAAR 836.204 is projected to be: Between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ and www.sba.gov/, respectively. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE OTHER THAN WHAT IS NOTED HEREIN.
