- Document Type: Special Notice: Notice of Intent to Sole Source Solicitation No.: 36C25519Q0533 Posted Date: June 14, 2019 Response Date: June 14, 2019 NAICS: 541199 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15, intends to make a Firm Fixed Price sole source award in the amount of approximately $50,000.00 to acquire necessary expert services from a consulting firm. The award will be made to: Vendor: Trauner Consulting Services, Inc. DUNS: 185790052 GSA Schedule: GS-10F-0282Y In accordance with FAR 6.302-3, Industrial Mobilization; Engineering, Developmental, or Research Capability; or Expert Services, The above contracting activity, in conjunction with the Office of General Counsel, seek to contract with a consulting firm specializing in construction contract delay claim forensic document analysis and consulting to provide expert contract claim review, consulting and possible expert witness testimony services related to a delay claim denial appeal. The objective of the contract is to acquire necessary expert services from a consulting firm (Trauner Consulting Services, Inc.) to support an Office of General Counsel position in the appeal and possible litigation related to the appeal. The objective of the contract includes site visit(s), document review, meetings and conferences, analysis, position development and consultation and possible expert witness testimony and all associated travel to support the Government position. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. This notice publicizes the intent to make the above referenced sole source award for the nature of the services required to satisfy Government requirements.
