Description

The contractor shall conduct Engineering Services Support for Paveway Laser Guided Bomb (LGB) and GPS/Laser Guided Bomb systems manufactured by Raytheon Missile Systems. These support services include, but are not limited to e ngineering evaluations/investigations per Systems Evaluation Program (SEP) requirements, US Government initiated improvements/investigations, telemetry kit data, weapon accuracy issues, technical order source data, contractor supported field or testing identified issues, Weapon System Evaluation Program (WSEP) support, Discrepancy Report (DR) investigation/evaluation, flight test support including release envelope analysis, Operation Flight Program (OFP) update support, weapon software support, aging and surveillance investigations/evaluations and Item Unique Identifier (IUID) requirements. Intended Source: Raytheon Missile Systems Lack of Competition Reasoning (FAR 6.302-1): The Paveway II variants and Enhanced Paveway weapon guidance units are highly specialized equipment. Only hte OEM posseses the data and knowledge required to accomplish the engineering service tasks anticipated for this contract. Estimated Duration of Contract: Sept 2019-Sept 2024 All responsible sources may submit a capability statemetn, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. This is not a request for proposal. The Government is not liable for costs associated with preparing a proposal. Solicitations will not be made through GPE, for information on how to obtain the solicitation please copntract one of the two POCs listed.
