Description
SUBJECT: Request for information (RFI), Synopsis Grounds Maintenance Mowing, Trimming and Edging of FT McPherson National Cemetery. The Department of Veterans Affairs, in conjunction with the National Cemetery Administration (NCA). is seeking a better understanding of the market capability for the proposed Grounds Maintenance above. The purpose of this Request for information (RFI) is to obtain information on the capability of vendors to provide Grounds Maintenance Services for the National Cemetery Administration (NCA) at the FT McPherson National Cemetery located at 12004 South Spur 56A, Maxwell NE 69151. This RFI allows potential contractor to submit a non-binding statement of interest and documentation demonstrating their capabilities. The RFI effort is intended to assess available sources capabilities and solicit feedback for acquisition planning purposes. The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is requesting responses from qualified suppliers and/or businesses concerns. The NAICS code for this effort is 561730 Landscaping. Description: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, professional expertise, vehicles, tools, equipment, materials, and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed in a manner that shall meet or exceed the requirements to maintain healthy turf grass and that presents a clean, neat, professional and aesthetic grounds appearance throughout the Cemetery. Services include, but are not limited to, mowing, trimming (features and headstones), edging (features and flat markers), weed control, removal of trash (generated by the Contractor), as well as sweeping or blowing off grass from sidewalks, roads and headstones. INSTRUCTIONS: NCA is looking for interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), or Small Businesses (SB) for a possible set-aside. Submit a brief description, four (4) pages or less (including cover letter) that demonstrates your company s ability to provide services to described herein. You should also demonstrate your company s ability to provide these services. Demonstrate your past experience in performing these services for the past two years to include your contract number and your socioeconomic status. Responses should include business size, business type, socio-economic status. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM): http://www.sam.gov, and verified in VETBIZ at: http://vetbiz.gov. Please provide a copy of your FSS or GSA schedule, if applicable. Please submit your questions and responses to the Contracting Specialist, Roselynn A. Ellah at: Roselynn.Ellah@va.gov. Responses are due by June 20, 2019 at 4:00PM EST. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI or Sources Sought.
