- This amendment to Solicitation # 36C26219Q0739 is to answer questions from interested contractors. Please remember that the Question and Answer period is to answer questions about this solicitation and clarify line items. What are the sizes of all Liquid Nitrogen Dewars required (multiple facilities)? ANSWER: All liquid nitrogen dewars are 25 liters (17) Gas Fill CLINs do not have a respective Rental CLIN; Does this infer that those Gases are serviced in VA Owned Cylinders? ANSWER: Change the following line items to: CLIN 0002, 0034, 0066, 0098, 0130 Monthly Rental Rate, E-Tanks with Built-in Regulator 5000 each CLIN 0004, 0036, 0068, 0100, 0132 Monthly Rental Rate, E-Tanks, small tanks 500 each CLIN 0007, 0039, 0071, 0103, 0135 Monthly Rental Rate, Medium & Large Tanks, K and H tanks. 500 each CLIN 0009, 0041, 0073, 0105, 0138 Monthly Rental Rate, Ultra High Purity (UHP) tank, 6K tanks 100 each Add extra CLINs as required for rental fees for tanks not included above. Are offerors required to be licensed within the state of California to sell medical oxygen and specialty gases (a prescription drug)? ANSWER: California licensure is not a precondition for contract award Are there any delivery window constraints for CBOCs? ANSWER: The delivery window for the CBOCs is 8 am to 1130 am. Is the facility currently receiving emergency deliveries within 2 hours turnaround? 2 hours is not a feasible turnaround time anywhere especially in a major metropolitan area such as Los Angeles. ANSWER: Change emergency delivery time to 4 hours. Is the current contract providing consolidated monthly invoices by the first Monday of the following month? Typically, the final Proof of Deliveries (notating deliveries/returns) are not available until approx. 7 days after a delivery has occurred. These documents are pertinent to invoicing. If the final delivery of the month falls on a Thursday, it is not possible for the invoice to be accurately submitted only two business days after a month s final delivery. ANSWER: By the 5th business day of the following month is acceptable. Can we identify the current contractor providing this work? ANSWER: That is not pertinent to this solicitation. Can we identify the current contract number? ANSWER: That is not pertinent to this solicitation. Can you find out if line 32 are they asking for the outright purchase of the Western OxyTotes? ANSWER: Yes, line 32 is to purchase Western Oxy-Totes.
