Description
The National Park Service, Northeast Region, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office intends to issue a Request for Quote, 140P4319Q0030 for a firm fixed priced construction contract, subject to the Davis-Bacon Act to furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, equipment, tools, materials, all supplementary or miscellaneous items, appurtenances and devices incidental to or necessary for the project required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The work of this contract consists of the installation of one above ground dual compartment fuel tank; two level concrete pads for tank placement; replacement of 145 linear feet of asphalt curbing; removal of existing fuel pump, two underground fuel tanks, fuel lines and vent lines. The NAICS code for this project is 237120 Oil and Gas Pipeline and Related Structures Construction and the small business size standard is $36.5million. The order of magnitude for this project is estimated to be between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The location of the work is Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine. Tentative date for issuing the Request for Quote is July 2, 2019. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 10.5 months after the Notice To Proceed is issued by the Government. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. Documents will be available for inspection without charge as attachments to the RFQ. Requests for the RFQ shall be directed to view the entire RFQ on the Governmentwide point of entry available via the Internet at https://www.fbo.gov/ using Keyword / Solicitation Number: 140P4319Q0030.
