PRESOLICITATION NOTICE LENEL SECURITY CAMERAS Contract Title. Purchase and Installation of Indoor/Outdoor Cameras Background. The Coatesville VA Medical Center utilizes cameras and the Lenel Security System to provide monitored coverage in hallways, outdoor areas, and patient units. The Police Department uses the recorded footage in the event of a crime or dispute. It was determined that there was a lack of adequate coverage in several areas of the hospital. There are areas that are not adequately covered, which poses a patient safety issue and allows for drugs and other banned substances to be brought onto the campus. Additional cameras are needed in hallways, outdoor areas, and patient units in order to provide more adequate coverage. Scope. Contractor is to provide, install and verify proper operation of the required security devices in the hallways, outdoor areas, and patient units. The equipment shall interface with the current Lenel Security System installed throughout the entire campus. Detailed specifications will be posted no later than 6/19/2019.
