- Description
- Aerial application of herbicides to an estimated 1,117 acres within the Dewey County area in Oklahoma for the Bureau Indian Affairs (BIA), Concho Agency. The BIA, Concho Agency requires the services of a contractor to provide an aerial application of broadleaf vegetation herbicide on pasture acres. No cropland shall be treated. This is necessary to keep the federally listed weeds and undesirable plants from taking over the area after the Rhea fire which occurred back on April 13, 2018. This is NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. This Sources Sought/Market Research is being conducted by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Southern Plains Regional Office, Division of Acquisitions, 100 N. Riverside Drive, P.O. Box 368, Anadarko, OK 73005, to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise sources that are capable of providing aerial applications of herbicides. The appropriate NAICS code for the proposed project is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry, with a small business size standard of $7.5 million. If this is a service your business can provide, please respond to this Sources Sought Notice by 5:00 pm CDT on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. Responses should include: (1) Business Name and/or Subcontractor Name (if applicable) (2) Business Address (3) Point of Contact Name Phone Number E-mail Address (4) DUNS Number (5) NAICS code (6) Must be an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) ISBEEs eligible to provide this service are encouraged to submit their capability statements. The BIA reserves the right to determine if an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise set-aside is appropriate based upon the capability information provided in response to this notice, and other pertinent information gathered by the contracting officer. Respondents should ensure the information provided is detailed, current, accurate, and complete. This notice does not constitute a solicitation. This invitation for capability statements is for planning purposes only. The acquisition strategy for this proposed project has not yet been determined. Response to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government will not reimburse any party for its participation in this effort. Information submitted in response to this notice is subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.
