Description
This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Notice and the purpose of this announcement is to seek qualified vendors capable of supplying the items listed below for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). All interested vendors should review the NSN and code and part number information listed below and provide any sources that may be able to manufacture this item. The approved source of supply is Schneider Electric IT Corporation, Cage 0MG77 Part Number SMT1500RMUS and the NSN is 6130-01-516-6057 for a Power Supply. The AMC is 3 which means to acquire for the second or subsequent time directly from the actual manufacturer. The AMSC is D which indicates the data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. AMCS 3, 4, or 5 are valid. The sources interested in this solicitation should complete the attached Market Survey and return a completed copy to Shonna Gray via e-mail at shonna.gray@dla.mil by 24 June 2019, 3:00 PM. All requested information must be provided by the response date indicated above. Should a company wish to be reviewed and qualified as an "Approved Source", they may submit an application package through the DLA Land and Maritime Alternate Offer/Source Approval Request (SAR) Program. A SAR package contains all technical data needed to demonstrate that the prospective contractor can competently manufacture the product to the same level of quality or better than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The onus is on the contractor to document and demonstrate their product is equal to, or better, than the currently approved item which DLA Land and Maritime is procuring. Sources interested in becoming an approved source must submit the appropriate information as outlined in Procurement Note C04 (formerly DLAD 52.317.9002), Condition for Evaluation and Acceptance of Offers for part Numbers Items. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (18-JUN-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE. PLEASE CONTACT 877-472-3779 or fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
