Description

EMSL Exploratory Research EMSL's Call for FY20 Proposals will be open July 15, 2019 - August 30, 2019. Each year, the Call for Exploratory Research Proposals seeks to target specific audiences or research areas and may identify topics of interest within each of EMSL's science areas. With Proposal Review Panel (PRP) recommendation, this is also a chance for authors to resubmit revised proposals from Large-Scale Research call. If you are Resubmitting a Proposal based on the PRP recommendation, there are additional requirements you must follow when submitting your proposal. Access on accepted projects starts upon approval. To maintain transparency across calls, the proposal score under this cycle must meet or exceed the minimum established for proposals that were accepted in the winter award cycle. This minimum or "cut-off score" can vary year to year and is established by the PRP based on the lowest score of proposals recommended for acceptance in that award cycle. For fiscal year 2019, the cut-off score is 4.0.
